Re: “Meet Your Maker trail run set for Sunday

Would you mind informing where the picture was taken? Somewhat looks like Blackcomb Glacier from the top of 7th Heaven, but ..... It is an interesting shot, and it would be nice if the course layout could be shown in a diagram,
thanks.

Re: “Study looks at Whistler Bike Park injuries

Considering law only requires for helmets, knee and elbow pads, the numbers are not surprising. Maybe learning more about bike safety will help as well. http://2wheelbikes.com/resource.html has a lot of information.

Re: “Whistler runners conquer marathon course

A huge congrats to all the Squamish competitors: about 10 completed the full marathon and more than 30 completed the half. The Squamish Titans were very well represented.

Dietz won the woman's Masters trophy for a second consecutive year and set a new personal best for the distance on Sunday. Leah Stadelmann set a PB in the half. There were also strong debut performances in the half by Paul Demers, Paul Fleming and Michele Roblin.

Re: “Sports Briefs: BC Parks seek feedback on biking in Garibaldi

A trail would be most beneficial! AT least it will keep riders on a designated area. I would just encourage new riders to do some research before jumping on a trail. I found a lot of info here: http://2wheelbikes.com/resource.html. Safety first!
