Only three more "Discover Luge" sessions remain for the current season, with the next one fast approaching on Sunday.

The well-known Whistler Sliding Centre (WSC) program offers youth aged 8 and up a chance to experience the fastest of the three Olympic sliding sports. Over the course of two hours, participants are introduced to luge, its equipment and its associated safety procedures before taking to the ice. Sliding will begin at Curve 13 and run through the final four curves of the track, with professional coaches and staff on hand to ensure the well-being of all young athletes.

Parents are now able to join their kids in sliding if space permits.

Learn more about Discover Luge at the WSC website. The upcoming session takes place Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m.

If luge isn't your thing, passenger bobsleigh continues to be a popular offering at the WSC and will run until April 7.
