Ok fine. But how can these new whistler Hippies come and make there mark here when it costs $500.00 to share a bunk room? How do you get passionate about Whistler when you can't afford to use the venues, rent a boat or a bike, ski or board, buy food, beer and pot or enjoy this town without having a rich background to bankroll this cultural freedom?
It would be nice to be 16 again but times have changed and it is not possible to live free and easy when every penny you earn is gobbled up by the new corporate image.
I wish I could live in a shanty and play my guitar but I have a mortgage and kids to support in a very expensive town.
