Twelve passes pulled on one week seems excessive and i wonder how good the sinage really was. Why was a guard not posted in this area? Was there enough staff working to ensure public new without a doubt that the area was closed due to avalanche concerns?
Zero tolerance is fine when backed up with clearly communicated boundary definitions.
I think Whistler Blackcomb operations needs to share some of the blame in this instance and reconsider the punishment issued.
