I think something like a small casino/pub would do well in the creekside area, would be something unique to creekside and would definitely be a good draw for people to spend more time and money in the creekside area.

This is an absolute joke, people who complain about the noise from the concerts need to be realistic, these concerts (more so in 2011 when we had actual big name bands) bring in large amounts of revue for the muni, and are not breaking any existing noisde laws/bylaws. you can blast loud music until 11pm anyways, might as well make it some good live music, complaints aren't justified at all!

the only problem with the "Doc Brannigans" building is that the square footage is much too large for a normal business to succeed, you need something that would be unique in whistler and that could draw people from the village into the creekside area.
