Paradata Systems Inc., the Whistler online payment solutions company mushrooming out of its Function Junction offices, has now spread its tentacles to Germany.

Paradata and TeleCash GmbH – Germany’s leading credit card processor – have announced a joint venture to provide fast, secure and easy-to-enable e-commerce services to German merchants.

TeleCash will be taking advantage of Paradata's recognized global internet payment service to offer its customers online payment capability in a secure and efficient manner.

"We are pleased with this news as it represents an exciting opportunity to demonstrate the simplest and safest Internet transaction in Europe," said Paradata president and CEO, Shannon Byrne.

TeleCash agrees. "Through the expansion of our Internet payment solution portfolio with Paradata’s solution, we are able to provide our merchants with an easy integration of SET payments for their shops," said Joachim Hammer of TeleCash. "Thereby we support self-made shops as well as standard shop systems as InterShop and OpenShop, for which we offer corresponding cartridges."

Paradata and TeleCash will enable TeleCash's merchants to process credit card payments using either SET or MOSET (consumer SSL) security protocols. In return, TeleCash will promote Paradata's technology to their customers.
