If you can wave a flag and ring a cowbell at the same time, the Canadian Alpine Ski Team (CAST) wants you on the sidelines at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. Based on interest, CAST has purchased spectator tickets to alpine events and is in the processing of putting together package deals that include transportation, tickets, accommodation and chances to meet with the athletes.
The opening ceremonies will take place on Feb 8, 2002, and alpine events will run through to the closing ceremonies on Feb. 24.
Before CAST can book the "Friends of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team" packages, they need to assess the level of interest.
