Have you got old furniture but don’t know where to get rid of it? It might look good in someone else’s living room.
For two days this month, the Re-Use-It Centre in Function Junction is accepting clean, gently used donations of furniture. It’s a great way to keep excess waste out of the landfill and to furnish suites of seasonal employees.
The centre chose the dates of Oct. 27-28 as new employees role into the resort, in search of affordable furnishings for their lodgings.
The Re-Use-It Centre will be putting up a large tent for the sale, but won’t be able to store furniture prior to the sale days. Furniture can be dropped off at the Function Junction site between 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct, 28.
