Whistler kids are busy, with many of them involved in several sports and activities at any one time.

To make it easier for parents to register their children for different groups, Kidsport Whistler is once again hosting the Strut Your Stuff Community Registration and Information Fair this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Different groups can book tables at Strut Your Stuff, and parents can sign up their children for almost anything in one place at one time.

The list of participating organizations at press time includes:

RMOW Parks and Recreation; Kidsport Whistler; Whistler Gymnastics; Whistler Guiding — Guides, Brownies and Pathfinders; Whistler Youth Soccer; Whistler Scouting; Whistler Dance Academy; Whistler Minor Hockey; Brad Higgs Soccer Camp; Whistler Mountain Ski Club; Whistler Nordics and Youth Jackrabbit Cross Country Club; Whistler Children’s Choir; Sea to Sky Youth Basketball; Whistler Skating Club; WhistlerWay Commuter Challenge; Debbie Vidas Dance; Whistler Racquet and Tennis Club; and Tandem Music.

Other groups are expected to sign on, and community organizations are welcome right up until the start of the fair on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Whistler Secondary. To book a table, contact Meadow Park Sport Centre at 604-935-8378.

Strut Your Stuff also provides kids and parents with an opportunity to meet with coaches and many participating groups will be putting on interactive displays so that kids can try different activities.

In addition, Whistler Minor Hockey and the Whistler Skating Club will be hosting a used equipment sale. Items should be priced and brought in by 9 a.m.

Kidsport Whistler is a non-profit group that assists parents and children on limited budgets to participate in different sports by helping them with the cost of registration and equipment. Application forms for Kidsport grants are available at the fair. Kidsport is sponsored by the Whistler-Blackcomb Foundation.
