Sprite Series continue with Slopestyle

Despite the chilly and overcast conditions a good crowd of 40 skiers and riders turned out last weekend for the second-to-last Sprite Park Rider Series event on the calendar, a slopestyle in the Whistler Spring Terrain Park in Glacier Bowl.

Shogo Ishizuki won the draw prize for the Atomic Skis and Calvin Chamberlin won an Atomic Snowboard.

The final Sprite Series event of the season takes places this Sunday, May 16. This is an open rail jam event, where riders will get several attempts to ride obstacles in the time allotted.

You can register in advance at Whistler Mountain Guest Relations in the Whistler Village Gondola station, or until 10 a.m. on the day of the event in the Roundhouse Lodge. Helmets are mandatory.
