Music that is inspiring me right now:

1. Klaviersonate in B-Flat Major — Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

"I love playing this beautiful, colourful piece. There are so many intricate details that make it a challenge. I dream of a perfect day in the countryside with the wind blowing gently and the sun shining down on me when I perform it."

2. The Well-Tempered Klavier: 48 Preludes and Fugues — J.S. Bach

"Listening to Bach’s masterpieces shows his musical genius and I absolutely love these Preludes and Fugues. I’ve challenged myself to learn all 48 in my lifetime."

3. Them Belly Full — Bob Marley and the Wailers

"Singing backup with my good friend Sheri Seeley in local reggae band Kostaman and the Mighty Back Ho’s has been enlightening. This song shows that no matter what struggles in life we encounter we can always rise above and pull through. Bob Marley was and still is a great teacher."

4. Come Dancing — The Kinks

"This song brings back wonderful memories. When I was a little girl my father would play this on the piano and my mother, my two sisters and I would dance around singing. Music has always brought happiness to our household."

5. Last Dance — Sara McLachlan

"I enjoy both listening to and playing this emotional piece. It’s amazing that so much emotion can be packed into a fairly simple composition."

Last words...

"I truly believe that music is the universal language. No matter where we may be in the world we can enjoy music in any culture and through this connection join hands for world peace."
