Runners seize the Days

A handful of Whistler runners took part in the annual Squamish Days 10 km Run on Sunday, July 31 during the annual Squamish Days Logger Sports weekend.

Brenda Baker was 28 th overall, third among women and first in the 50 to 54 age group with her time of 39 minutes, 18 seconds.

Lee Edwards was 69 th overall and third in the women’s 40 to 44 race in a time of 45:04.

William Goldstein was 96 th overall and eighth in the men’s 50 to 54 category in 48:02.

Wanda Goldstein crossed the line in 53:41, fifth in the women’s 45 to 49 race.

Mona Patel and Pam Chater finished in 1:00:07 and 1:00:08 respectively, running together in the 20 to 34 category.

Louise Hatton was 21 st in the same category, crossing the line in 1:15:24.

Pemberton’s Katherine Fawcett was seventh in the women’s 35 to 39 race in 48:43.
