In a number of stories on the Signal Hill Homes development being planned near Pemberton's downtown core, Pique reporter Jesse Ferreras has repeatedly stated that it could place about 1,000 homes in the town centre. This is incorrect. The actual number of units is estimated at just under 300 homes, but the number is dependent on a non-market housing component being included in the new neighbourhood. The neighbourhood could house 1,000 people.
