The Whistler Taekwondo School attended the B.C. Provincial Championships at Capilano University on Feb. 26, taking part in the fighting division.
Athletes winning gold medals were Palm Mingotti, Daikichi Kashino, Conor Vanden Heuvel and Sean Cyr. Kyle Laquindanum earned a silver medal. Bronze medals went to Jerita Mingotti, Joshus Ranjbar, Mackenzie Cyr, Connor Laquindanum and Lana Kashino.
Master Dawn Lefebvre congratulated her students for their efforts, and thanked Andrew Griffiths and Zendai Kashino for refereeing the tournament.
