Before, in between and after the meditation, stretching, hiking, music and yoga at Wanderlust food will be enjoyed.

Since most wanderlust attendees are looking for food options consistent with their lifestyle festival organizers have arranged to deliver health-conscious food and drink offerings for the duration of Wanderlust.

These are the details of the two main Wanderlust food events:

Farm to Table Dinner

Friday, August 24 | 7:00 p.m.

The Farm to Table Dinner will offer a dining experience at the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain featuring mountain views from the Glacier Room. Wanderlust is working with British Columbia's finest farmers and agricultural producers along with Whistler Blackcomb to create a nourishing feast to revitalize your body after a full day on the mat.

Tickets: $108, includes all-day gondola access, the meal, tax, gratuity, and two glasses of red or white wine.

Feast in the Mountains

Friday, August 24 and Saturday, August 25 | 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Feast in the Mountains will showcase British Columbia's culinary bounty by transforming Rebagliati Park into a roaming gourmet sampling of local foods prepared by Whistler's best dining establishments. Spend a summer's afternoon amidst British Columbia's Coastal Mountains, wander the park and savor the creations. Vendor booths will include award-winning chefs, farmers, food artisans, vintners and brewers offering samples of their products.

Feast in the Mountains is an event for Wanderlust participants aged 19-plus.

Watermark and Astrid's Fine Foods are teaming up to operate the fourth annual Feast in the Mountains event. Sue Eckersley of Watermark says it has been a fun to partner with Wanderlust to offer the event in conjunction with the new festival to Whistler.

This is the first time Feast in the Mountains has been held over a two-day period.

Eckersley says 12 food vendors are participating, along with 11 beverage operations. Most of the beverage vendors are offering wine though there will be two breweries and a tea company as well.

"It is very reminiscent of Crush in a lot of ways," says Eckersley of the outdoor event in the park. "This has more emphasis on food where the focus at Crush is on wine."

Eckersley says to look for cheese, meat and dessert offerings at Feast in the Mountains.

Tickets are $50 and are available at wanderlustfestival.com.
