A Pemberton man is facing drug charges after being arrested for breaching curfew.

Twenty-six-year-old Dieter Prall was arrested March 24 after RCMP found him in breach of a court-imposed curfew.

Police seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and ketamine as well as some cash.

Staff Sgt. Steve LeClair with the Whistler RCMP said officers in Whistler and Pemberton are committed to eradicating the sale of illicit drugs in the Sea to Sky Corridor.

"There's been some neighbourhood concerns (in Pemberton) and we wanted to let the community know that we do listen and we do take action," LeClair said.

Prall was transported to the Pemberton RCMP detachment before being taken to North

Vancouver Court. He has been remanded in custody and will appear again on April 2.

Prall is charged with two counts of breach of recognizance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
