RCMP have arrested a man in connection with the April 9 theft from an automated bank machine which was located at 4314 Main Street in Whistler.
Shawn David Lundrigan of Squamish was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 17 for numerous outstanding warrants for offences ranging from breach of probation, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, mischief, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, theft under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance.
Lundrigan was then connected with the theft from the Whistler ATM.
Lundrigan has been charged with theft over $5,000. He is also being charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and with breaching a weapons prohibition. Lundrigan will appear in court in North Vancouver on Aug. 18.
