Join Lisa Baile author of John Clarke: Explorer of the Coast Mountains for a talk at the library. John Clarke is a little-known Canadian who explored more virgin territory and racked up more first ascents than any other climber - ever! Recognized by his white cotton long johns, he initiated the Wilderness Education Program, received the Order of Canada, had a peak named after him and possessed an irrepressible spirit that continues to inspire.
