The United Kingdom talent may have won three world championships in martial arts, but what Kelly Marie is most famous for is her kick-ass turntable sets spinning the globe from open-air events in Albania to glitzy clubs in Italy to Full Moon parties in Thailand, and now a mountain hideaway in Whistler.
Kelly Marie is the second show in the Ibiza Three Series, on Monday, March 5 at Garfinkel’s.
The resident DJ for Hed Kandi in Ibiza is used to playing to crowds of 3,000, but instead will scale her Latin, Afro and disco beats to an intimate Whistler party.
She spends her summers in the centre of the dance party world then packs her vinyl to globe trot with regular shows at Floridita at London, Trade at Turnmills as well as Italian shows for So Delicious Milan, Seven Apples, Hennessey Turin and Club Pinetta.
Her love of boogie, Latin and soul also works its way into group settings. She performed live with an all female string quartet called Scala as well as the It Girls. She also teamed up with talents such as Danny Keith under the Soul 8 banner to carry on her quest to bring uplifting vibes to the masses.
VIP tickets to the three-part series are $45, but a few individual tickets will be sold at the door.
The Ibiza Three Series show kicked off with Griff Feb. 28 and will close with the infamous Pete Tong Monday, March 26.
