Judging by the number of red and gold suits out there for local ski races, it’s safe to say that Whistler and the Lower Mainland area is home to many Canadian Alpine Ski Team alumni.

If you used to ski for Canada, you’re cordially invited to the CAST reunion in Whistler from March 15 to 17, during the Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships.

The weekend kicks off on Friday with a welcome reception. There is free skiing for alumni during the day, and a chance to participate in the dual slalom event. The Canadian Championships VIP lounge is open to aluni as well.

So far 47 alumni have signed up for the reunion:

A fund-raiser for the national team will also be held, on Thursday, March 14 at the Chateau Whistler. The event, open to all, begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes a silent auction of team members’ equipment and cash bar.
