A personal trainer and a Purebread employee have been declared the two most "stoked" resort ambassadors in a Whistler Chamber of Commerce contest.

Jamie Keegan and JP Fok are both thrilled about their new titles and the huge trophies that go with them. The pair also received two VIP packages each to the World Ski and Snowboard Festival, with lift tickets and access to the biggest events of the festival, along with a six-month pass to the Meadow Park Sports Centre.

"Jamie and JP represent the very best of Whistler," said Val Litwin, CEO of the Whistler Chamber of Commerce. "Spend five minutes in their company and you'll want to spend the rest of your life here. Their stoke is contagious and makes them the ultimate Whistler ambassadors."

Keegan is originally from Ireland. She moved to Whistler three years ago and has just received resident status in Canada, so she plans to stay in Whistler for the long term.

"This is a major top-off to my month," said the Purebread manager with her huge trophy in hand. "Absolutely amazing — I'm so happy."

All her social media posts during the contest involved food and drinks from her store. The most memorable features her stuffing a muffin into her mouth.

Keegan makes it her mission to make sure guests leave Whistler remembering the people, as well as the activities they do while visiting the resort.

"Do not let anybody leave the store unhappy," Keegan said when asked for her top tip for being a stoked employee in Whistler. "Go out of your way to make people happy."

Fok posted daily Instagram photos outlining what happens in his life. Some of his photos were with clients and other photos featured shots of him giving snowboard lessons on weekends.

He said some of his friends weren't surprised to learn Fok was named Whistler's Most Stoked male.

"They know me as being pretty stoked," said Fok. "One of my friends commented that instead of being known as goggle-tanned guy, I'll be known as the most-stoked goggle-tanned guy in Whistler."

The Whistler Chamber of Commerce spearheaded the contest. Participants were encouraged to post photos of themselves with short stories on Instagram.
