CTV airing needs Whistler spirit

Help celebrate the first day Vancouver and Whistler officially become the host city for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games Monday, Feb. 27 by joining a live broadcast of CTV’s national morning program Canada AM from 3:30 to 8 a.m. at the Dubh Linn Gate Pub.

Hosts Jeff Hutcheson and Marci Ien will orchestrate a morning of live music, entertaining interviews and draw prizes. Breakfast will also be served with plenty of coffee.

Don red and white with prizes for most patriotic outfits and the employer who gets the most employees out to support the fundraising event will have their business acknowledged twice on air.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Zero Ceiling Foundation, a Whistler non-profit society dedicated to providing snowboarding experiences for at-risk youth.

Tickets are $10 (which includes breakfast). Only 150 tickets will be sold. Drop by the Tourism Whistler Activity Centre, located across from the conference centre, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to purchase tickets.
