It was a busy weekend for the local RCMP, with officers receiving 94 calls for service.

A large majority of these calls were related to alcohol, with nine calls coming in for noise complaints, six calls for disturbances and 13 counts of people drunk in public.

Afzeel Yakub, spokesperson for the Whistler RCMP, also said driving was a concern, with six complaints of impaired driving, one collision and three driving complaints. He added that those involved in drinking and driving could face fines, jail time or lost driving privileges.

There was also one count of theft, one break and enter complaint and five mischief calls.

In other RCMP news, Hell’s Angel member William Bowden was arrested in Whistler on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, earlier this month for outstanding weapons and violence charges.

The Winnipeg native was identified by a team of officers while celebrating the day in Whistler with his girlfriend, and arrested without incident.

According to Yakub, Bowden was transported to North Vancouver Court and will be sent to Winnipeg to attend court.

Whistler RCMP officers currently have warrants for four individuals: Christian Parslow, Christopher Staetter, Christopher Trealout and Michael Wilson.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these men should contact the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. Crime Stoppers is an anonymous service and can pay up to $2000 for information that leads to an arrest.
