Making a sacred drum begins a journey. The deer and the maple tree used in the creation of the drums are honoured and the beating of the drum keeps their spirits alive. The workshop includes a welcome song, materials and instruction, storytelling and a closing ceremony. Each participant will produce a 14 inch drum.
