My five favourite songs right now:

1. I Have Nothing — Whitney Houston

"After hearing Vonzell Solomon sing this on American Idol , I fell in love with it. I've always admired Whitney Houston for her strong vocals and talent and in this song she really shows it off."

2. Hollaback Girl — Gwen Stefani

"I really enjoy her music because she's got such a unique and different tone to her voice. This particular song has an energetic beat and rhythm that makes it fun to listen to."

3. If You Leave — Nada Surf

"This song was made especially for (TV show) The O.C., where I first heard it. I like it because it's got a relaxing beat, which really just soothes you with its soft tone. The lyrics are very meaningful."

4. Best Of My Love — The Emotions

"I love all kinds of music, especially the ’80s because it's so upbeat. I'm a very outgoing person and this song makes me happy and just want to jump up and dance. The instruments used give it a certain boost of energy that can just fill up the whole room."

5. Since You’ve Been Gone — Kelly Clarkson

"This pop-rock song is a radio-classic. Kelly Clarkson's got a lot of good, uplifting songs but this one is probably the best! It really cheers you up and gets you moving. It's got good vocals and it’s impossible to not want to dance to it."

Last Words:

"I think that music has a big impact on people's lives and can really relax and calm you down. There's such a variety of music out there in the world that's waiting to be heard. It can be very powerful, yet soulful and I love how music makes me feel so peaceful inside, but on the other hand can make me wanna get up off my seat and dance! It is totally a mood changer!"
