Beginning Nov. 1 The World as Our Teacher , an exhibit featuring over 40 photos taken all over the globe by a diverse collection of local professional and amateur photographers. A strong social statement and an intriguing display. An exhibit reception takes place Monday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. and will feature slide shows, short films, artists painting live, and tunes by local DJ/artist Chili Thom. Ph: 604-935-8410.

Aboriginal owner/operator Terry Vincent has been a part of Whistler since 1965. A unique artistic spirit reflected in First Nation artworks, wildlife prints, and historical fine art prints and originals. Open every day except Tuesdays, noon-6 p.m. Vincent is keeping the spirit of the Farmer’s Market alive by hosting the Locals Arts and Crafts Fair in the gallery.
