Extremely Canadian hosts its last night of debauchery kicking off the winter season Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Merlin’s, bringing a decade of scantily clothed partying to a close.

“After 10 years of hedonism and nudity, we want to put this thing to bed with a bang,” said Peter Smart of Extremely Canadian.

The Freakers Ball, which started as the Pimp ’n’ Hoe party, is a long-standing tradition in Whistler with party revelers taking a no-holds-barred approach to decking themselves in sexed up, over-the-top costumes.

The annual event draws freaks from all over the ski and snowboard scene who come together to celebrate the beginning of winter.

Prizes will be awarded for most freakish costumes and behaviour.

Doors open at 8 p.m.

Tickets are free and are available by contacting ski@extremelycanadian.com.
