For as much as Mike and Noreen Unsworth golf, you'd think the retired couple would have seen everything.
"We play golf every day," Mike said.
"We're nuts about it."
But it's safe to say what happened last week was a one-in-a-million experience.
Make that one in 26 million.
Teeing off at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club on June 3, the couple sunk back-to-back holes in one.
The odds of such an event, according to the Fairmont, are 26 million to one.
It wasn't long before word of the improbable feat spread.
"All of a sudden the whole golf course knew about it," Mike, 75, said with a laugh.
When the couple finished their round they were met by Chateau Whistler's resident pro Padriac O'Rourke and a bottle of celebratory champagne.
"So we popped open a bottle of champagne on the 18th green and had a nice drink and toasted it," Mike said.
It happened on the short, downhill par-3 10th hole, where Mike knocked in his seven-iron from the blue tees into the hole. Noreen, 73, followed with her six-hybrid from the same tee.
While this is their first experience with back-to-back aces, the Unsworths are no strangers to holes in one.
Mike had one four years ago at a course in California.
Noreen, however, has now sunk 13 of them.
"She's had it all over the world," Mike said. "She's a pretty good golfer, obviously."
