The last of seven King of the Rails contests took place Saturday, March 20 at the base of Blackcomb with another huge turnout of boarders and skiers. The winners in each category are determined by the athletes themselves after an hour-and-a-half jam session under the lights.

Jibbers will be happy to know that Whistler-Blackcomb has added two additional rail jam events to the calendar as part of the Sprite Park Rider Series. The first event is scheduled for April 4 in the Whistler Chipmunk Park with two main lines of features and two judged runs for every participant. The event scheduled for May 16 on Whistler will likely have the same athlete-judged format as King of the Rails.

Night Moves night skiing also wrapped up for the season last weekend.
