Living History set for upcoming winter season

Multi-media theatre show to play weekly

A new multimedia theatre production aimed at visitors to Whistler is seeking contributions from the community.

A Living History Of Whistler will present an abridged look at Whistler from First Peoples through to the present day.

The show will run weekly on Tuesdays throughout the winter season in the Millennium Place theatre and will feature live actors, performers and guest speakers along with the regular presentation of photos, video footage and music.

Producers Millennium Place and local event-planning company Higher Ground Entertainment are collaborating with the Whistler Museum and the Whistler Writers Group on the show. Community contributions of stories, photos and video footage are currently being accepted with a submission deadline set at Sept. 15.
