What: Mt. Fairweather Slide Show Photographer Duncan MacKenzie presents slide show of his recent trip summitting B.C.’s highest peak with two other WB ski patrollers. Slide show starts at 8:30 p.m. followed by Canadian premier of Linescore, a ski documentary on the U.S. Freeskiing Tour. Admission is free.

Who: Rob Funk   High energy Celtic & Irish pub favourites and folk and rock with a funky twist. Show 7-11 p.m.

Who: Ullr WB Party Worship the great god of snow, Ullr, at this Whistler Blackcomb snow kick off party at 6 p.m. Evening includes pyrotechnics, fire dancers, rail jam, live music from from Gnar Boots, burgers, hot chocolate and screening of Matchstick Production’s Seven Sunny Days. Admission is free.

What: Bear Aware Party Pemberton’s Still Smokin’ plays Bear Aware Party with live tunes, pizza and cash bar, and bear advocates sharing what they know, including renowned grizzly bear researcher Charlie Russell. Winners of the Whistler Bear Aware Residential Business Awards will also be honoured. Proceeds benefit Bear Aware programming. Show 7 p.m.

Who: DJ Dirty South Australia’s number one producer and DJ Dirty South returns to Whistler on Canadian leg of six-month world tour. Doors 9 p.m. Advance $20 tickets available at The Hub Creekside, The Mix and Tommy’s.
