Canadian Alpine Ski Team officials have confirmed that the 2003 Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships will be held in Whistler for the second year in a row, from March 18 to 27.

The championships wrap up Canada’s largest national alpine ski racing series, featuring top development team, Nor-Am, and provincial level skiers. The championships also draw World Cup skiers from the national team who are gunning for national titles in all of the alpine events.

Whistler’s Britt Janyk, who won three national titles this spring, will have a chance to defend those titles on her home mountain.

The dates have also been set for the Canadian Juvenile Championships for Canada’s top racers aged 13 to 14.

They will take place in Collingwood, Ontario, from March 17 to 22.
