The festival formerly known as LIVE at Squamish has a new name and new dates.
The two-day music festival, which has drawn acts like Weezer and Metric, will now take place on Aug. 9 and 10 as The Squamish Valley Music Festival.
"In response to overwhelming demand we are shifting the festival to a fully programmed Friday/Saturday format," organizers say in a post on the website. "We are once again expanding the site and camping capacities to accommodate the increasing demand and will be adding additional door-to-door shuttle services from both Whistler and Vancouver."
Line-up and ticketing info for the 2013 installment - the festival's fourth year - will be announced in early spring.
