Victim suffers serious injuries in May 18 Pioneer Park attack

Police are looking for information about an assault that took place in Pemberton last Sunday, May 18.

At about 3:20 a.m. Pemberton RCMP were alerted to an attack in Pioneer Park that had occurred several minutes earlier.

They spoke with the victim, and a witness, who told then that the victim had approached two youths sitting in the park. While the victim was speaking with the males one of them kicked the victim in the face.

The victim suffered serious injuries in this attack.

The suspect in this incident is described as a Caucasian male, 5'8" to 5'10', medium build, aged 17 to 22 years old.
