Local police say they are 'very concerned' with the well-being of a Whistler woman who was last seen Wednesday night leaving a village bar.

Alison Leanne Raspa, 25, remains missing after departing the Three Below Restaurant at approximately 11:30 p.m. Nov. 22. Since her disappearance, police have explored "a number of investigative avenues" but have come up short, according to Staff Sgt. Annie Linteau, senior media relations officer with the B.C. RCMP.

An item belonging to Raspa was discovered in Alpha Lake Park at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23, police said. With the assistance of Whistler Search and Rescue, investigators continue to scour the park and shores of Alpha Lake for any sign of the missing woman. Police said the RCMP E Division's Underwater Recovery Team have also been tapped to conduct "a thorough search" of the lake.

"We are very concerned for Alison's well being," said Linteau in a release. "We ask anyone who may have any information as to Alison's movements from the time she was last seen leaving the Three Below Bar and the time her personal item was located at Alpha Lake Park."

Raspa is described as Caucasian, with long brown hair and blue* eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, a white-and-black-striped shirt, and black pants.

Anyone with information on Raspa's whereabouts is asked to contact Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.

*An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Raspa's eyes are brown, which was based on information provided by the police.
