The RCMP is asking Sea to Sky locals to be on the lookout for a 34-year-old man from Cobourg, Ontario who may be in the area.
Ian Paul Walendzewicz, described as 173 cm tall and 68 kg, is wanted for three charges of sexual assault, assault, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats.

Man pleads guilty in school break-in
A 30-year-old Australian living in Whistler pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of mischief after breaking into Myrtle Philip Community School in the early hours of March 8 and stealing a guitar from the music room. He also agreed to pay $1,400 in restitution for the damage he caused.
The RCMP was alerted by the school's motion sensor alarm, and when officers attended they found the man nearby with a guitar and a bleeding hand. He was intoxicated. They walked around the school and found a broken window at the back, with the guitar case clearly visible through the window.
Photography stolen from hotel lobby
At 9:30 a.m. on April 15 the RCMP received a report regarding a piece of art that was stolen from the lobby of a local hotel. Reviewing the video, the theft occurred at 12:05 a.m. that morning. Police are looking to identify the male suspect, who was wearing a black puffy coat and fur-line jacket and light blue toque or hoodie.
No value for the photograph, taken by Rick Flebbe, was given, although it was purchased twenty years ago for $150. The photo depicted the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb.
Mischief charge turns into obstruction
At 10:15 p.m. on April 15, the RCMP observed a male in the Village Square pushing over a sign for the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival. The police went to apprehend the man and he fled, eventually hiding in the bushes outside a local hotel where he was arrested for mischief and obstructing a police officer - the second offence comes with a $500 ticket. The 21-year-old Whistler resident originally from Ontario admitted to drinking about 10 beers that evening and told police that he had been dared to knock over the sign.
Impaired driver in conflict with impaired pedestrian
An RCMP patrol in Pemberton, on Highway 99 near Vine road, came across a male who was trying to attract their attention. According to the male, he stopped his vehicle after he noticed a second male lying down on the road. The male got up and punched the door of the vehicle.
The RCMP noticed that the driver of the car, a 24-year-old Pemberton male, showed signs of intoxication, and gave him the approved roadside screening device, which he failed. That resulted in an automatic 90 day driving prohibition and 30-day vehicle impound, as well as other penalties under the province's impaired driving laws.
Meanwhile the male that had been on the ground tried to run away from police, but was pursued and arrested. He was given a violation ticket for being intoxicated.
