Seen a black bear family? Call it in

Whistler black bear researcher Michael Allen is asking anyone...

Whistler black bear researcher Michael Allen is asking anyone who sees a black bear, or more importantly a black bear family, to let him know about it for the bear count he is working on for May and June.

"A lot of people are calling in a mother with two black yearlings in the Lost Lake, White Gold, Nesters and Tapley’s area, which is great," said Allen. "I’ve probably had about 40 calls so far, so people are being very helpful."

You can report any bear sightings, especially families, to Michael Allen at 604-902-1660 or mallen_coastbear@direct.ca.
