Solid performances in slopestyle

More than 60 competitors turned out to the Sprite Park Rider Series slopestyle on Sunday, taking full advantage of sunny skies and softer landings to go big.

The field was smaller than usual, mostly because of the pro Boardroom Slopestyle at Mount Seymour the day before.

Robyn Allan won the draw prize for the Atomic Tweak skis and Roscoe Sabiston won the Atomic snowboard.

The Sprite series continue this weekend with its first ever rail competition in the Chipmunk Park on Whistler Mountain. The format will be similar to the slopestyle, with different lines available to the riders, and two judged runs each, with only the best run counting. The course will be marked and available for training starting Saturday, April 3.

As always you can register for the competition in advance at any Whistler-Blackcomb Ski School Sales or Guest Relations location. Day of event registration is available at the Roundhouse Lodge until 10 a.m.
