What: MOTHER’S DAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST The Pemberton Lion’s Club is serving up blueberry pancakes, sausages, syrup, whip cream and strawberries for hungry families at this mother’s day event. All proceeds donated to the Whistler/Pemberton Safe House Program.

What: SCREENING MAMMOGRAPHY PROGRAM BC women aged 40 to 79 can receive free mammograms, no doctor referral needed. Program in Pemberton from May 12 to 13, Whistler from May 14 to 21 and Squamish from May 22 to June 6. For scheduling or inquiries, please call 1-800-663-9203.

What: WHISTLER FOR YOUTH The community program Strengthening Families for 10 to 14 year-olds and their families runs for 7 weeks starting May 14. Entry is free, and dinner will be provided.
