WHISTLER CYCLING COMMITTEE OPEN HOUSES. A municipally-supported group formed to champion cycling in Whistler, the committee will be hosing open houses June 2 and 6. The June 2 open house is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Village Square. June 6 the committee is in the Millennium Place foyer between 3 and 7 p.m.
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP. Whistler Community Services is offering The Nuts & Bolts of Fundraising, a crash course for new and old non-profit/volunteer organizations who want to gain or brush up on fund-raising skills. MOVING CHORDS CHORUS SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING. Moving Chords Chorus Society, a non-profit society supporting childrens and youths choirs in the Sea to Sky corridor, will hold its annual general meeting on Monday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at the Squamish Baptist Church, 2262 Read Crescent. The financial report and the proposed budget for 2001-02 will be presented and two directors will be elected.
