What: SCREENING MAMMOGRAPHY PROGRAM This free service provided by the Ministry of Health will be offered to all eligible B.C. women ages 40 to 79 without a doctor’s referral. Women outside of this age group will also be accepted with a referral. Call 1-800-663-9203 for an appointment.

What: MOVE FOR HEALTH DAY The whole community is invited to lace up their walking shoes and join the Move for Health Day Walk. Registration is not required and all participants will receive a souvenir for taking part.

What: HORMONES NEED UNDERSTANDING TOO Women of Whistler brings in Susan Krautter to present a holistic approach for women who are interested in getting their hormones back into balance free of pharmaceutical drugs. What: MAY FAIR Fun for the whole family can be expected during this celebration of the arrival of Spring. Seasonal crafts, woodworking, bark boat building, May pole dancing, a magical wishing pond and an enchanted fairy forest to name just a few. Hot lunch and refreshments available all day.

What: CANCER PREVENTION WORKSHOP The Canadian Cancer Society invites everyone to attend this free 90-minute workshop to learn how 50% of cancers can be prevented. Space is limited to 40 attendees, there will be a booth at the Whistler Wellness Fair for those who miss out.

What: FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE Tickets are going fast for the 14 th annual event that celebrates that special bond between fathers and daughters.
