The buzz is ramping up ahead of this August's Squamish Valley Music Festival (SVMF), and music lovers can snatch up one of the hottest tickets of the summer on Friday, Feb. 28 when single-day passes go on sale.

Now in its fifth year, organizers are predicting double the number of attendees to this year's festival, which runs from Aug. 8 to 10 at the Logger Sports Grounds and Centennial Fields.

Each day's official lineup has been released as well, with Foster the People, Serena Ryder, The Head and the Heart and others playing Friday ahead of headliner Bruno Mars. On Saturday, Canadian Grammy winners Arcade Fire close out the night, with Broken Bells, The Roots and Tokyo Police Club, rounding out the program. The festival's closing night includes British pop rockers Arctic Monkeys, Thievery Corporation and Atmosphere, with Motor City rap legend Eminem headlining.

"Today's music landscape consists of fans who take in all genres of music and are passionate about discovering new artists," said Erik Hoffman, Live Nation Canada's vice president of talent in a release. "We truly feel like there's something for everyone on each day of the festival this year."

Single day passes are $149 before tax and service charge, and will go on sale Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. They will be available online at www.ticketmaster.ca or by phone at 1-855-985-5000.
