A temporary pedestrian overpass will be installed on the Sea to Sky highway near the southwest corner of the Pemberton Music Festival site in order to create easier access for festivalgoers, according to a release from festival organizers.

Building the overpass will take place in the evening hours of Wednesday, July 6 and Thursday, July 7 with work commencing around 6 p.m. and concluding the following morning around 6 a.m.

There will be no highway lane closures during the period but motorists are advised to note a temporary speed limit of 50 km/h that will be implemented from July 6 to July 20 on Highway 99 from Pemberton to Mount Currie.
