WHISTLER CHILDREN’S CHORUS

. The Children’s Chorus joins two other choirs to Sing Noel, Sunday, Dec. 16 at 4:40 p.m. at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.

. A 12-member choral chamber ensemble, music intima has been called Canada’s best small choir by the National Post. The Dec. 16 Christmas concert at Millennium Place is a fund-raiser for the Alta Lake School. Reception and silent auction at 6:30 p.m.; concert at 7:30 p.m.

COLD FUSION

. Long-time ski filmmaker Warren Miller mixes science, art and passion to produce a limitless supply of energy on screen at Maurice Young Millennium Place. Highlights include Matt Chojackni doing a quadruple twisting quad and Dave Barlia in his "flying suit" jumping off the Eiger. Screening of Miller’s 52 nd annual ski and snowboard film is Dec. 18 at 7 p.m.

PEOPLE’S GALLERY OPENING

. The gallery, at Maurice Young Millennium Place, opens Dec. 21 with The West Coast Artists. The show features work by Helga Ruiterman, Wera Peters, Peter Daniels, Raymond Chow, Lyle Macdonald and Vincent Massey. Reception is from 5 to 7 p.m.

MOVING CHORDS YOUTH SHOW CHOIR

. The choir will be holding a Christmas concert at Maurice Young Millennium Place Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. the Whistler Singers and Colours on Key will join them.

CAROLING

: The Moving Chords Youth Show Choir, Whistler Singers and Colours on Key perform carols and Christmas music during a walk through the village Dec. 22. The singing starts at the Delta Whistler Resort at 7:30 p.m. and wraps up at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at 9 p.m.

A CHILDREN’S NATIVITY.
