The Little Theatres Production of Hamlet is a comedic co-production of an age-old tale from the Whistler Players and Between Shifts Theatre. CANADA DAY PARADE
Deck out in red and white and celebrate Canada Day in Whistler, July 1. Parade ends with a party at the Whistler 2010 Information Centre. There will also be a BBQ fundraiser on the deck of the Whistler Mountain Ski Club Cabin. From 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., rain or shine.
LAUNCH OF THE COUNTDOWN CLOCK
Only 365 days until the International Olympic Committee makes a decision. The Countdown Clock will start on July 2 at 2 p.m. on the deck of the 2010 Information Centre.
PUBLIC READING FOR KIDS
Popular B.C. childrens author Linda Bailey will kick off the Summer Reading Club on Wednesday, July 3 at 7 p.m. at the Whistler Public Library. The reading is most appropriate for children ages 5 and up. Bailey will also be at the Squamish Public Library at 1 p.m. on July 3 and at the Pemberton Pubic Library at 12:30 p.m. on July 4.
The Pemberton Womens Institute has rescheduled the annual Strawberry Tea to Thursday, July 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Pemberton Museum. Cost is $4 for strawberry shortcake and tea or coffee.
