BREAKFAST WITH SANTA>>

Breakfast and pictures with Santa from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Pemberton Secondary School. Tickets will be sold at the door for $4 for children (12 and under) and $5 for adults.

AGAINST ALL ODDS – BOOK LAUNCH>>

The official launch of Michel Beaudry’s new book, Whistler: Against All Odds, about Whistler’s transformation into a world class ski resort in the remote Coast Mountains. At the GLC on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 3 to 6 p.m.

FIRST NIGHT WHISLTER 2003>>

Tickets are on sale for Whistler’s non-alcoholic New Year’s Eve celebration which includes musicians, artists, psychics, street performers, facepainters and arts participation. Tickets are $15 each, $4 for kids 12 and under and are available at Municipal Hall, Myrtle Philip Community Centre and Meadow Park.

VIDEO-DISCUSSIONS ON SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND RECOVERY>>

Sea to Sky Community Services is hosting video nights every Thursday from Nov. 21 - Dec. 19, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Pemberton (1357 Aster St.) The topics deal with addiction, its impact on the family and recovery.
