WHISTLER FILM FESTIVAL>>

Film buffs can check out the movie line up for the 3 rd annual Film Festival at www.whistlerfilmfestival.com . Festival takes place from Dec. 4-7.

PIANO RECITAL>>

Featuring about 30 students, ages 4-13 at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church on Fri. Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. An adult trio will also sing one holiday selection. Admission is a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Whistler Food Bank. Refreshments served after the concert.

BIZARRE BAZAAR>>

Hand-made crafts by Sea to Sky artisans and other delights will be featured at the 16 th annual Bizarre Bazaar. Find jewellery, bath and body products, ceramics, clothing, preserves, fine art, wood and glass products, Christmas decorations and more at the Whistler Conference Centre on Sat. Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Bizarre Bazaar is looking for volunteers. For more info call 604-935-8419.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA>>

Come have breakfast with Santa and discuss your wish list at the Pemberton Secondary School on Sat. Dec. 6 from 9-11:30 a.m. Children $4, adults $6. Photos with Santa available.

SNOW SCENE>>

Kick off the season in style with Snow Scene, featuring the Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup tour showcasing the world’s best snowboarders from Dec. 11 to 14. The village will be alive with World Cup action and festival celebrations.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS FAIR>>

Enjoy the magic of an old fashioned Christmas event, where children can enjoy the tradition of making handmade Christmas gifts. Activities include visiting the Cookie House, puppet shows, a Christmas concert, and an origami demonstration. Hot lunch served. Sat. Dec. 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Alta Lake School and Spruce Grove Field House at Spruce Grove Park.

ZERO CEILING RUMMAGE SALE FUNDRAISER>>

This charity rummage sale will raise money for local youth charity Zero Ceiling on Sat.
