Mark your calendar, if you haven't already - Canada Day is set to see some sweeping changes to Whistler's transit system.
In a service advisory issued June 24, BC Transit states that Route 2 - Whistler Creek will see increased morning service, while Route 33 - Lost Lake Shuttle will run as a free service from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labour Day.
Route 5 - Marketplace Shuttle, meanwhile, will become a shorter loop, running from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Route 7 - Tapley's Connector will become a two-way service from Barnfield.
Some of the biggest changes will come south of the village, as Route 1 - Games Express will no longer detour into Spring Creek and will detour into Alta Vista only on select trips.
