Newcomers to triathlons can sign up for a 12-week triathlon training clinic coached by Val Burke in partnership with Meadow Park Sports Centre.
The clinic gets underway next Saturday, April 24, with a focus on getting athletes ready for the Squamish Triathlon.
The clinic will provide education and motivation.
Burke has a Masters Degree and seven years experience working with a Physical Education Department in New Zealand and coaching national teams in preparation for the Olympics and Commonwealth Games. In Whistler, Burke coaches endurance athletes in running, cycling, triathlons and Nordic skiing.
