Hometown filmmakers/designers/bloggers Voleurz took home the top prize at Intersection film making competition Wednesday night receiving $15,000.
This is the first year for Intersection, an action winter sport filmmaking competition where each team has one week to complete the film. Voleurz was up against five other teams, all of which took home $1000 for participating.
It's likely the competition will run again next year as it was well received by the audience and others.
"It was mind blowing," said Jess Smith, communications manager for the event. "Intersection is going to be one of the coveted events, for sure."
